At mtd be regularly undertake social and corporate studies. Our mtd Benchmark Study, designed to map out corporate equal opportunities and diversity practices, is conducted every two years, updated with a new focus theme each time. In 2009 we assessed the general corporate diversity situation, in 2011 we concentrated on the plans and practices of employing disabled individuals and in 2013 we examined the corporate practices supporting a healthy work-life balance, publishing an overview study of each. In 2013 we extended our research activities to exploring the needs of employees; in the framework of our MMK Campus Project we launched two online studies. The first maps out disabled university students’ expectations of the labour market, what they envisage as the ideal, inclusive workplace. The second examines the labour market preferences of those disabled individuals who have already graduated university. Both surveys are fully anonym and valuable prizes will be awarded amonsgt those completing them.
